I have been working as a graphic designer since 2011, working with various mediums, including print and web media, sketching, digital design, video editing, 3D character work, leaflet design, posters, cinematography, and sign-writing. I began my design education in Colaiste Stiofain Naofa, Cork, by studying Multimedia from 2006 to 2008, gaining a FETAC Level 5 BTEC that had me working with various design programs such as Adobe Suite (focusing namely on PhotoShop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash), Combustion, and 3DS Max. I furthered my design education over the years, by gaining a FETAC Level 5 Award in Signwriting from FAS in 2011 (which gave me experience working with SignLab, along with extra experience with signwriting methods such as gold leaf, painting, vinyl lettering, and sandblasting), a WebActivate 2.0 Level 6 CPD Diploma from Dublin Institute of Technology (giving me experience in WordPress and HTML coding), and a QQI Level 5 award in Graphic Design from St. John’s Central College (which furthered my design skills in PhotoShop, Illustrator and WordPress, and gave me fresh experience working with InDesign).
Over the years, I’ve worked with numerous clients on diverse projects and campaigns, including a national supermarket chain, an international political initiative, a British women’s charity, a Northern Irish blog site, an Irish LGBTQ organization, and various international social groups, charities and initiatives. Some of my designs have also been published in various releases; most recently one of my pieces was selected for publication in MINE Anthology, which available for purchase here.
I’m based in my hometown of Cork, Ireland.
